Kiki stumbled as in a flash, she found herself in a wholely different setting. Instead of buildings of clay and mortar, she found herself among towering rectangular monstrosities of metal and glass. Suddenly a horn sounds, and someone yells at her in some alien language, leaning out of what must be a magitek machine, though the overweight driver didn’t look like any soldier. She rushed to get out of the way, realizing the people not inside magitek carriages were walking on the sides of what she could recognize as the straightest road she had ever seen! “I’m sorry,” she bowed as she moved out of the way, the carriage zooming off down the road as soon as she was out of the way. “I think I just teleported to Garlemald…”
(I imagine our cities to them, would seem like they must be a part of the Empire to those who hadn’t actually been there before.)
Kiki’s hung around with all types since meeting her best friend and now wife Yuki, not to mention the wide range of events they’ve attended together from fundraisers, to galas, to strip-shows! Usually she likes to be a little bubble of happiness no matter where she goes, and she thinks she usually succeeds! Though I think it would be more accurate to ask how those around her see the role she plays instead. (I’m biased XD)
Kiki chuckled a moment, “Actually, Khara, Yuki and I just got married last week!” She held out her hand with the beautiful wedding ring, “I’m happy to commit my life to theirs!” She scrunched at the next question then, “Oh, I don’t have kids, and I’m not really sure I’m ready to go through all that myself, so I take potions to prevent it. Though it hasn’t stopped Yuki! So we’ll be welcoming Mini-Yuki into the world and all the excitement that’ll bring!” She looked off to the side as she scratched her horn, “And maybe depending on how that goes, I might consider my own. We’ll see!”
