Airis is a headstrong woman with a clear definition of right and wrong, who wants to bring joy to those around her while preserving her sense of self. She appears to have endless confidence; voicing her opinions and backing them up, and she launches into battle with courage and heart, standing up for what she believes is right. Her love for life is boundless; unlimited and unwavering.

Having dealt with her mother’s illness and her subsequent death made Airis pretty resilient at heart. She doesn’t tend to sit and brood or to mope in self-pity. While she’s realistic and knowledgeable about the world and the various situations, she has the capacity to look past the difficult parts in service of something more productive to pursue. She takes life with a hint of humor to it, laughing, joking, and simply chatting with others frequently. Whatever occurs to accost her, Airis does what she feels is best and stays strong enough to allow circumstance to carry her where it will. She brings comfort to those who need it. She empathetic and gentle; she’s a person who can understand the pain of others and help them to move past it. It’s one of the reasons so many people connect to her as she goes on her journey.

Most notable is Airis’ devotion to her companions. Once she considers you a friend it is very difficult to make her forget that notion. She’s trusting to a fault, which gets her into trouble because people will take advantage of her kindness. She’s a bit naive at times, but she’s stubborn and resourceful so even if she finds herself in a tough spot, she often thinks of a way to get herself out of it. She firmly believes that fighting together for a common goal is better than rushing off alone, but in this, she can sometimes be a hypocrite and try to do things on her own, not wanting others to be worried for her when she doesn’t think there’s a reason to be. While she has views of what is right and wrong, she does her best to remain open-minded and tends to judge a person not on their past or what they have done, but what on what she has seen for herself and the actions they are carrying out in the present. Though she is capable of holding grudges and does, Airis still tries to find the best in people, making her closer to being idealistic than being pragmatic.

• _{HATSUKOI – THE PERSONAL SHOP: Airis has always loved flowers, a trait influenced and shared by her mother. Thus it didn’t come as a surprise to anyone that when she finally landed her own property, the auri turned the place into a shop full of them. At Hatsukoi, she sells fresh flowers – either gathered or personally grown – as well as homemade tea brews, perfumes and medical salves made from the herbs and blossoms.}
  
• _{SOUND OF WATER – THE HEALING CENTER: Although she spent a bit of time with the Conjurer’s Guild in Gridania, the bulk of Airis’ proficiency with the art came from her training with her mentor in the Steppe. Because of this, her healing style is a bit unique to her, which is why she decided to open up her own healing center. There is no charge to be seen by her – all she asks is that you take care of yourself and come back to visit sometime when you’re not injured.}
  
• _{LOOKING FOR A FRIEND: Anyone who knows Airis will speak first and foremost of how friendly she is. Despite being someone who has her own beliefs and ideas, she’s not the type to judge others on their pasts or hearsay. She gives everyone a chance and tries to remain open-minded as much as possible. Thus if you are looking for someone to befriend and spend time with, she’d be more than happy to oblige! —• [ WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ] •—

• THE WRITER: I am in my 20s and have been roleplaying for years. My timezone is Pacific Standard and I try to be in-game pmuch every day. However, I’m currently juggling a full-time job and school, so there may be days when I’m not feeling up for interactions. However, I am extremely down for Discord RP, as I can do it during my breaks – and honestly this is where a lot of my RP is handled. I do prefer being in-game, but adulting is hard, you know? T_T

• STYLE & CONTENT: I consider myself an experienced roleplayer. My usual format is multi-paragraph, but due to the character limits in FFXIV, I’m starting to adjust to a most simplistic style. I am fine with adult themes – drugs, alcohol, sexual situations – but I prefer to avoid horror and gore as much as possible.
• PREFERENCES: I prefer long-term character development over quick flings and will invest a good deal of time and effort into any bond my character forms with another (regardless of the relationship type). I enjoy providing a full experience for my partner, including detailed descriptions of the environment, npcs and believable dialogue. I strive to make my characters realistic in the sense that their actions and words will always adhere to their personalities and character information I’ve provided for them.
  
• COMBAT: I love RP combat when it’s done right (descriptive, engaging and no godmodding) and I’m okay with injuries as long as we discuss it. I’ve had experience using character sheets and the /random feature for combat scenarios, but I’m also open to trying new things!

• LORE: I do my best to the lore of the game, only making minor tweaks here and there. The biggest thing I’ve flexed a bit is my character being half-Raen and half-Xaela, but I made sure to write it in a way that doesn’t break the game lore, nor does it make her a special egg. lol I also have a lot of fun creating original concepts such as languages, worlds and cultures – and I’m open to sharing fanmade lore if asked.

• ROMANCE: I am 200% down for my character finding love, but I am also a sorta selective person when it comes to ships. Like I mentioned earlier, I prefer believable development and I’m not in a hurry to jump into shipping. With that said, I feel it’s important to mention that OOC DOES NOT equal IC when it comes to my character’s feelings/relationships. Just because Airis is in a relationship with your character it does NOT mean you and I, the writers, are. I am not roleplaying to find an IRL partner and if I feel at any point that you’re focusing on that – I’ll be outtie 5000.
